Job Overview
Join our agri-tech division to design and implement next-generation agricultural solutions. This role bridges technology and traditional farming practices, supporting Zimbabwe’s food security goals while creating Employment in Zimbabwe for skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy agri-tech tools like precision farming software and IoT-enabled crop monitoring systems
- Conduct field trials for drought-resistant seed varieties and soil health technologies
- Collaborate with local cooperatives to train farmers on digital agriculture platforms
- Optimize supply chain logistics for agrochemical distribution using AI-driven analytics
- Prepare technical reports on agricultural productivity metrics and climate adaptation strategies
Required Skills
- Expertise in agricultural technology implementation
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and remote sensing tools
- Knowledge of Zimbabwe’s agricultural policies and land use regulations
- Strong project management and cross-cultural communication abilities
- Experience with agri-tech startups or rural development programs
Education
