Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated infrastructure plans for smart city projects, including IoT-enabled utilities and green building systems.
- Collaborate with urban planners, technologists, and government stakeholders to align projects with national development goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for urban technology implementations.
- Supervise construction of smart infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Required Skills
- Expertise in urban planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS) and smart city design principles.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating urban data and optimizing infrastructure performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of Zimbabwe’s urban development policies and regulations.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Smart City Technologies preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years in urban infrastructure development, with a focus on technology integration.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
Salary
150,000 – 250,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
