Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process supplier invoices and payment transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable and debt collection activities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury management activities.
• Prepare VAT, tax, and statutory compliance reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Verify financial transactions and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audits.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Generate management reports and financial analyses.
• Support procurement and contract payment reviews.
• Ensure timely posting of accounting entries.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and taxation requirements.
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, or corporate sectors preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
