As a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable agriculture projects that promote the use of agroforestry practices, improve agricultural productivity, and enhance the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.

Job Title: Sustainable Agriculture Specialist

Reports to: Programme Manager, Sustainable Agriculture

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sustainable agriculture projects that promote agroforestry practices and improve agricultural productivity
- Work with smallholder farmers to develop and implement sustainable agriculture practices
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in sustainable agriculture
- Develop and implement training programs for farmers and extension agents
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations to promote sustainable agriculture practices
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agroforestry, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agroforestry, or related field
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sustainable agriculture projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
