Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments to ensure rock stability in mining areas
  • Design and implement geotechnical solutions to mitigate rockfalls and slope instability
  • Collaborate with mining engineers to optimize extraction methods and ensure safe mining practices
  • Monitor and analyze geotechnical data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain geotechnical models and databases

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the mining sector
  • Strong understanding of rock mechanics and geotechnical principles
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools (e.g., RocFall, Slide, and numerical modeling)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Experience
