Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to lead our large-scale construction initiatives in Gbarnga, Liberia. This role is pivotal to our regional expansion and involves overseeing the design, implementation, and management of critical civil works, including bridges, highways, and urban drainage systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities align with local regulations and international best practices. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic modeling.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities in a multicultural environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of international construction standards and local Liberian building codes.

Education

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. A Bachelor’s degree with significant advanced professional experience may be considered in exceptional circumstances. Professional licensure (PE) is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years in a senior supervisory or management role within large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects from conception to completion is essential.

Salary
