Job Overview

The Senior Wind Farm Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of new wind farm projects from feasibility studies through to commissioning and hand‑over. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for wind farm developments.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and legal to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate with local government agencies, landowners, and community leaders to secure permits, land access, and stakeholder buy‑in.
• Oversee procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and external partners, highlighting key milestones and financial metrics.

Education

Experience

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in renewable energy project management, with at least five (5) years specifically in wind farm development. Experience working in Africa, and familiarity with local market dynamics, is preferred.

Salary
