Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hydrogeological surveys and site investigations to determine groundwater potential.
  • Design and supervise the drilling of monitoring wells and production boreholes.
  • Perform advanced aquifer testing, including pumping tests and slug tests, to determine hydraulic conductivity.
  • Develop 3D groundwater flow and contaminant transport models using industry-standard software.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and feasibility studies for government and private sector clients.
  • Ensure all water extraction activities comply with national environmental regulations and international standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of civil engineers and urban planners to integrate water solutions into larger infrastructure projects.
  • Provide expert testimony and technical guidance during environmental impact assessments.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in groundwater modeling software such as MODFLOW or FEFLOW.
  • Strong proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for spatial data analysis.

Education
