Job Overview

Adobe Systems Zimbabwe is seeking a Virtual Reality (VR) Experience Designer to lead the development of immersive VR applications for clients across education, healthcare, and entertainment sectors. This role requires a creative technologist with expertise in VR software, 3D modeling, and user experience design to craft innovative solutions that redefine digital interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop immersive VR experiences using Adobe’s creative suite and third-party VR tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align VR projects with client objectives and technical requirements.
  • Conduct user testing and refine VR applications for optimal performance and engagement.
  • Stay updated on emerging VR trends and integrate new technologies into project workflows.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on VR platform usage.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in VR development platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine) and Adobe Dimension/Animate.
  • Strong 3D modeling and animation skills using Blender or Maya.
  • Experience in user-centered design principles and interaction design.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of Shona or Ndebele.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in VR/AR design is an advantage.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in VR/AR development or interactive media design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating VR projects in education, healthcare, or entertainment sectors.

Salary

80,000 – 120,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
