Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly creative and analytical Senior Fintech Product Designer to lead our digital interface evolution. This role is pivotal in shaping how millions of users interact with our mobile and web-based banking platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for new fintech products, from initial user research to high-fidelity prototyping and handoff.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure design feasibility and technical alignment.
- Conduct extensive user testing and usability studies to identify friction points in the digital banking journey.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure visual consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Analyze user behavior data to iterate on existing features and optimize conversion rates for digital loans and savings products.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles within the broader organization to foster a culture of empathy.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive design for all user demographics.
- Advanced prototyping skills using tools like Protopie or Framer to demonstrate complex interactions.
- Ability to translate complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive user interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills to present design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Digital Media, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or specialized certifications in UX/UI design will be considered a significant advantage.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of professional experience in product design, with a significant portion of that time spent working on mobile applications or complex web platforms. Experience within the fintech or banking sector is highly preferred. Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise. This salary is subject to statutory deductions as per Liberian labor laws.
