Job Overview
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining telemedicine platforms that enable remote healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven tools, secure data systems, and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare providers and patients. The position is based in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, and offers opportunities to work on scalable solutions impacting rural and urban healthcare ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize telemedicine software using .NET, Python, and cloud-based architectures.
- Integrate AI-powered diagnostic tools and patient monitoring systems into existing platforms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand clinical workflows and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization for telemedicine applications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in full-stack web development (React, Node.js, Azure).
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (HL7, FHIR standards).
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of telehealth regulations and HIPAA-compliant frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced certifications in cloud computing (Azure, AWS) or healthcare IT are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on healthcare technology or telemedicine platforms. Demonstrated success in deploying scalable applications is required.
Salary
200,000 – 300,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
