Job Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient E-learning Content Developer to join our growing Academic Technology department. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive digital learning modules using various multimedia elements including video, audio, and interactive quizzes.
- Collaborate with faculty members to convert traditional course materials into structured online learning paths.
- Manage and maintain the institution’s Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless user access and performance.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on all digital content to ensure pedagogical effectiveness and technical functionality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues encountered by students and faculty during online learning sessions.
- Analyze student engagement data to continuously improve the effectiveness of digital course content.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in educational technology and instructional design methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models like ADDIE or SAM.
- Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse academic staff and technical teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet strict academic deadlines.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Digital Learning or a similar discipline is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in digital content development, instructional design, or educational technology. Proven experience in managing large-scale digital learning projects and working within an academic or corporate training environment is essential. Experience in the West African educational sector is a plus.
Salary
The offered salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP per month, depending on the candidate’s experience, technical proficiency, and educational qualifications. This salary is subject to statutory deductions as per Liberian labor laws.
