Job Overview: We are seeking a Digital Forestry Systems Specialist to join our team in Mberengwa, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital forestry systems to support our conservation efforts. This role will involve working closely with our forestry team to design and implement digital solutions that promote sustainable forest management and conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital forestry systems to support conservation efforts
- Work closely with the forestry team to design and implement digital solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management and conservation
- Conduct research and analysis to inform digital forestry systems development
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities
Required Skills:
- Strong technical skills in digital forestry systems development
- Experience working with forestry teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
