Job Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory dossiers for Pfizer’s product portfolio in Zimbabwe. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Clinical Development, Quality Assurance, and Marketing, to ensure timely approvals and compliance with local and international regulations. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the regulatory strategy, managing relationships with the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ), and supporting the launch of new medicines. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies for new product registrations and lifecycle management.
  • Prepare, review, and submit comprehensive regulatory dossiers, including IND, NDA, and MAA applications.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with MCAZ and other health authorities to ensure compliance.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to product development, clinical, and manufacturing teams.
  • Monitor changes in local and international regulations and assess impact on Pfizer’s operations.
  • Lead internal audits and inspections related to regulatory affairs.
  • Mentor junior regulatory staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of Zimbabwean pharmaceutical regulations and ICH guidelines.

Education

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on product registration and lifecycle management in African markets.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 250,000 to SSP 400,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
