Job Overview
The Digital Payments Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Fidelity Bank’s digital payments products, including mobile wallets, QR‑code payments, and online transaction services. Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—technology, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations—to design, launch, and continuously improve innovative payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market strategy for digital payments solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the Zimbabwe FinTech landscape.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Lead product testing, pilot programs, and full‑scale launches, ensuring compliance with local regulations and security standards.
- Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and iterate to improve adoption and satisfaction.
- Work closely with risk and compliance departments to embed fraud prevention and AML controls.
- Develop pricing models, revenue forecasts, and business cases to support investment decisions.
- Partner with marketing to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and usage of digital payment products.
- Provide training and support to internal sales and customer service teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, such as blockchain and AI, to explore innovative enhancements.
Required Skills
- Strong product management experience in digital payments or related FinTech services.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and product development tools.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, regulatory requirements, and security standards in Zimbabwe.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with additional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or FinTech specialization will be given preference.
Experience
Minimum of five years of hands‑on product management experience, specifically within digital payments, mobile banking, or FinTech platforms. Experience working in a regulated financial environment in Zimbabwe or the broader Southern African region is highly desirable.
Salary
The role offers a competitive salary range of SSP 300,000 to SSP 500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total compensation package.
