African Sun is hiring a Financial Accountant to oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance for its Victoria Falls properties. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports budgeting and cost analysis, and provides insights for operational and strategic decision-making.

The Financial Accountant will work with finance managers, auditors, and operations teams to maintain transparency, optimize financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries

Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet analysis

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Ensure compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements

Conduct financial performance analysis and variance reporting

Assist with internal and external audits

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and operational expenses

Implement financial controls and accounting policies
