Job Overview
The Store Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing store performance across the Murewa region. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the analyst will use data analytics, process improvement techniques, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive sales, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction. The position involves close interaction with store managers, inventory teams, and the corporate analytics department. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly store performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with store managers to develop action plans that increase sales, improve inventory turnover, and enhance customer service.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per square foot, shrinkage rates, and labor productivity.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting insights and recommendations.
- Support the implementation of new point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and digital inventory tools.
- Conduct regular store visits to validate data, assess compliance, and provide on‑site coaching.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize stock levels and reduce out‑of‑stock situations.
- Participate in regional meetings to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for interfacing with store staff and corporate stakeholders.

Education

Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in retail operations, business analysis, or a similar role within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment. Experience with multinational retail chains or exposure to the Zimbabwean market is advantageous.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses may be awarded based on achievement of KPIs and contribution to store profitability.
