Job Overview

The Hospitality Guest Relations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that every guest has a memorable and seamless experience from arrival to departure. This position is the face of the hotel, acting as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests. You will be responsible for managing guest preferences, resolving issues with grace, and coordinating with various departments to ensure all guest needs are met proactively. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Act as the primary liaison between guests and hotel departments to fulfill special requests.
  • Proactively identify potential guest issues and resolve them before they escalate.
  • Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future stays and enhance loyalty.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and food and beverage teams to ensure room readiness and dining preferences.
  • Manage guest feedback and documentation through the property management system.
  • Assist in organizing VIP arrivals and ensuring all amenities are prepared according to brand standards.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Certifications in Customer Service Excellence are highly desirable.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a front-of-house or guest relations role within a luxury or upscale hotel environment. Proven experience in handling complex guest complaints and managing VIP relations is essential.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier talent in the region.
