Position Summary

The company is seeking a highly experienced and organized Freight Forwarding Manager to oversee international freight operations and coordinate shipments between China and African destinations. The successful candidate will manage shipping schedules, customs documentation, supplier relationships, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily freight forwarding operations for import and export shipments
  • Coordinate sea freight, air freight, and road transport logistics
  • Supervise cargo movement between China, Zimbabwe, and African markets
  • Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, clearing agents, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international shipping requirements
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve logistics challenges promptly

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, International Trade, or related field
  • Professional certifications in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Customs Management will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding or international logistics management
  • Strong understanding of China–Africa shipping routes and trade procedures
