Job Overview
British Council Zimbabwe is seeking a dynamic EdTech Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of educational technology solutions tailored for Zimbabwean schools and institutions. This role will bridge the gap between pedagogical needs and technological innovation, ensuring scalable and user-centric EdTech products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage the lifecycle of EdTech products, from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with educators, developers, and stakeholders to identify learning challenges and design solutions
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in educational technology
- Oversee product testing, user feedback collection, and iterative improvements
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and accessibility requirements
- Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers and educational institutions
Required Skills
- Proven experience in product management within the EdTech sector
- Strong understanding of educational frameworks and curriculum development
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Technical knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and digital content platforms
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into product enhancements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field
- Master’s degree in Educational Technology or Business Administration preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years in EdTech product development or educational technology management
- Experience in cross-functional team leadership
- Track record of launching successful EdTech solutions
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
