Job Overview
This role focuses on guiding organizations through digital transformation journeys, leveraging IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI platforms. The consultant will collaborate with clients to design, implement, and optimize digital strategies aligned with business goals. The position offers opportunities to work on high-impact projects across sectors like finance, healthcare, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct needs assessments to identify digital transformation opportunities
- Develop customized solutions using IBM Cloud, Watson AI, and blockchain technologies
- Lead workshops to train stakeholders on digital tools and processes
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with client objectives
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and AI applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalability
- Fluency in English and basic knowledge of Shona/Ndebele
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, IBM Cloud) preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years in IT consulting or digital transformation roles
- Experience in Zimbabwean or Southern African markets advantageous
Salary
1,200,000 – 1,800,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
