We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Heritage Preservation Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of preserving Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage.
Job Overview
The Digital Heritage Preservation Specialist will be responsible for preserving and promoting Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage through digital means. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop and implement digital preservation strategies, create digital heritage content, and provide training and support to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital heritage preservation, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital preservation strategies for clients
- Create digital heritage content, including 3D models, virtual tours, and digital exhibitions
- Provide training and support to clients on digital heritage preservation and management
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement digital heritage projects
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital heritage preservation
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Digital Heritage or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital heritage preservation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong background in digital heritage preservation, including 3D modeling, virtual tours, and digital exhibitions
- Experience with digital heritage preservation software and tools
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Digital Heritage or a related field. A Ph.D. in Digital Heritage or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in digital heritage preservation, including experience in developing and implementing digital preservation strategies, creating digital heritage content, and providing training and support to clients.
Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of 5000-8000 SSP per month, depending on experience.
