We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Heritage Preservation Specialist to join our team and help us preserve and promote Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage.
Job Overview
The Digital Heritage Preservation Specialist will be responsible for preserving and promoting Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage through digital means. This will involve working with various stakeholders, including museums, archives, and cultural institutions, to identify and preserve digital heritage assets.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital heritage preservation and will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
The position will be based in Karoi, Zimbabwe, and will require frequent travel to various locations across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Preserve and promote Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage through digital means
- Work with various stakeholders, including museums, archives, and cultural institutions, to identify and preserve digital heritage assets
- Develop and implement digital heritage preservation strategies and plans
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in digital heritage preservation
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Digital Heritage Preservation or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital heritage preservation
- Strong background in digital heritage preservation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Master’s degree in Digital Heritage Preservation or related field from a recognized university.

Salary
