Job Overview

The Construction Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale construction projects for LafargeHolcim’s cement plant expansion, commercial building contracts and infrastructure initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role requires end‑to‑end project ownership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and strict adherence to budget, schedule and quality standards. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and regulatory bodies, ensuring that each project aligns with corporate objectives and local compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates and resource allocation.

  • Ensure compliance with Zimbabwean building codes, environmental regulations and health & safety standards.

  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Control project budgets, approve expenditures, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.

  • Facilitate continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and integrating best practices into future projects.

Education
