Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead our security response teams and safeguard our critical digital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and incident response plans to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in the network.
- Oversee the deployment and management of advanced security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure security is integrated into all new technological deployments.
- Manage threat intelligence gathering to stay ahead of emerging cyber-attack vectors and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams regarding cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
Required Skills
- Advanced expertise in network security protocols, encryption standards, and firewall management.
- Proven experience in incident response, digital forensics, and threat hunting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate complex security breaches.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC2.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage technical teams and report to executives.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority security incidents simultaneously.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity. Previous experience working within the telecommunications or large-scale ISP sector is highly desirable. You should have a proven track record of managing large-scale security infrastructures and leading incident response efforts.
Salary
