Job Overview
The Senior Logistics Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing our complex supply chain operations in Liberia. This position is responsible for sourcing high-quality services and goods that support our logistics network, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on service quality. You will be tasked with negotiating high-value contracts, managing vendor relationships, and implementing strategic procurement policies that align with DHL’s global standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to optimize the supply chain within the Liberian region.
- Negotiate complex service level agreements (SLAs) with international and local vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high service standards.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing vendor performance.
- Collaborate with the logistics operations team to ensure timely delivery of essential equipment and materials.
- Monitor procurement budgets and provide regular reports on cost savings and spending trends.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with both international standards and local Liberian regulations.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans for critical logistics routes.
- Manage the end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Salary
The offered salary for this position is between 45,000 SSP and 65,000 SSP per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This salary is subject to statutory deductions as per Liberian labor laws.
