Job Overview

The Risk Management Officer will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks across NMB Bank’s portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessment models for credit, market, and operational risk.
  • Conduct regular risk monitoring, reporting, and analysis to senior management.
  • Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the bank’s portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe regulations and international best practices.
  • Collaborate with business units to embed risk controls into product development and daily operations.
  • Prepare and present risk dashboards and executive summaries for the Board of Directors.
  • Lead investigations of risk incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.

Required Skills
