Job Overview

The Mining Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs across Sibanye-Stillwater’s mining operations in Gweru. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections across all mining sites.
• Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor compliance with Zimbabwean mining safety legislation and international standards such as ISO 45001.
