Job Summary

The Supply Chain & Logistics Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that support logistics operations, freight forwarding activities, cargo tracking, transport management systems (TMS), and ERP integrations.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations and logistics teams to improve automation, reporting systems, shipment monitoring, and data management processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Software Development & System Management

• Develop and maintain logistics and supply chain management software systems
• Implement and support transport management systems (TMS)
• Design cargo tracking and shipment monitoring applications
• Integrate freight forwarding systems with operational workflows

Database & ERP Integration

• Manage and optimize logistics databases and reporting systems
• Integrate ERP systems with supply chain and transport operations
• Ensure smooth data exchange between logistics platforms and enterprise systems

Technical Support & Automation

• Troubleshoot software and system-related issues
• Coordinate software upgrades and enhancements
• Support automation of documentation and logistics reporting processes
• Ensure system security, performance, and data integrity

Staff Training & Collaboration

• Provide technical support and user training to operational staff
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to improve system functionality
• Recommend innovative software solutions for operational efficiency

Education Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development within logistics or supply chain environments
