Job Overview

The Insurance Underwriting Analyst will join the Underwriting Department in Mutare, playing a pivotal role in evaluating, pricing, and approving insurance policies for both personal and commercial lines. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite new insurance applications across life, health, and general insurance lines.
• Analyze risk factors using actuarial tables, statistical models, and industry benchmarks.
• Prepare detailed underwriting reports and recommend appropriate premium rates.
• Collaborate with sales agents to gather necessary documentation and clarify policy terms.
• Monitor existing policies for changes in risk exposure and recommend adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines.
