Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Mutare, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities and meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits and testing of our products and services
- Develop and implement accessibility strategies and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into product development
- Provide training and support to employees on accessibility best practices
Required Skills
- Proven experience in accessibility and usability testing
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in accessibility and usability testing, with a strong background in software development or related field
Salary
SSP 5,000 – 10,000 per month
