Job Overview
The Digital Content Strategist will lead the creation, curation, and distribution of compelling digital content across Zimpapers’ online properties, social media channels, and emerging platforms. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, you will collaborate with editorial, design, and analytics teams to develop data‑driven strategies that increase audience engagement, boost page views, and drive advertising revenue. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with business objectives and audience insights.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to translate print stories into engaging multimedia formats, including video, podcasts, and interactive graphics.
- Manage the editorial calendar for digital platforms, ensuring timely publication and optimal content mix.
- Analyze performance metrics using analytics tools, generate reports, and refine strategies to improve reach, dwell time, and conversion rates.
- Oversee SEO best practices, keyword integration, and metadata optimization to enhance organic visibility.
- Coordinate with the social media team to amplify content, monitor trends, and engage with audiences across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives for headlines, layouts, and calls‑to‑action to maximize click‑through and engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency and voice guidelines across all digital touchpoints.
- Identify and nurture relationships with influencers, content partners, and industry experts to expand content reach.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to keep Zimpapers at the forefront of digital innovation.
Required Skills
- Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for visual and textual content.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media analytics tools.

Education
