Job Overview

The Guest Experience Manager will lead the Guest Services team to ensure every guest receives personalized, high‑quality service from check‑in to check‑out. Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, you will design and implement service standards, resolve complex guest issues, and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve guest service standards to exceed expectations.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Guest Services team, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
  • Handle escalated guest complaints and complex situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to coordinate seamless guest experiences.
  • Analyze guest feedback and occupancy trends to identify opportunities for service enhancements.
  • Prepare and present monthly service performance reports to senior management.
  • Implement Hilton’s brand standards and local cultural elements to create a unique and authentic guest journey.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills with a focus on coaching.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and guest feedback platforms.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive service improvements.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm, solution‑focused attitude.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Shona or Ndebele is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of five years’ progressive experience in guest services or front‑office operations within a luxury or upscale hotel environment, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Salary
