Job Overview

The Clinical Operations Manager will lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient‑centered clinical services at Mediclinic’s Chinhoyi facility. Reporting to the Regional Director of Clinical Services, the role oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all clinical activities to ensure seamless patient flow and high‑quality care.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with national health regulations and Mediclinic standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, length of stay, and clinical outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, and performance evaluations for clinical personnel.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets while maintaining service excellence.
• Lead quality improvement projects, accreditation preparations, and risk management initiatives.
• Facilitate effective communication between physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and occupational health standards.
• Represent Mediclinic in community outreach programs and stakeholder engagements.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in clinical operations, hospital administration, or a comparable healthcare leadership role. Experience in a private hospital setting and exposure to accreditation processes such as ISO or JCI are preferred.

Salary
