Job Overview
The Senior Financial Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of our operations in Liberia. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and conduct regular variance analysis to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless year-end audits and regulatory examinations.
- Provide strategic financial analysis to support business decision-making and expansion projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with Central Bank of Liberia regulations and international banking standards.
- Manage the tax compliance framework and ensure timely filing of all statutory requirements.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and complex data analysis.
- Expert knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax laws.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

- Proficiency in advanced ERP systems and specialized banking software.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field is mandatory. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Proven experience in a senior-level controller or management role is essential to succeed in this position.
Salary
