Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Cultural Asset Manager to join our team in Gwanda, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and preserving digital cultural assets, including photographs, videos, and documents. The position requires a strong understanding of digital heritage and cultural archiving principles, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and preserve digital cultural assets, including photographs, videos, and documents
  • Develop and implement digital heritage and cultural archiving strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and acquire digital cultural assets
  • Develop and maintain digital collections and databases
  • Provide training and support to staff and stakeholders on digital heritage and cultural archiving principles

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Digital Humanities or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital heritage and cultural archiving
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of digital heritage and cultural archiving principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
