Job Overview

The Director of International Partnerships will lead the International Relations Office in shaping and executing the university’s global engagement strategy. Reporting to the Vice‑Chancellor, the role involves identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships with foreign universities, research institutes, NGOs, and corporate entities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive international partnership roadmap aligned with institutional goals.
• Identify and evaluate prospective partner institutions across continents, focusing on academic excellence and mutual benefit.
• Lead negotiations, draft memoranda of understanding, and oversee contractual agreements.
• Coordinate joint research projects, faculty exchanges, and collaborative curriculum development.
• Manage the International Partnerships budget, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Represent the university at international conferences, forums, and networking events.
• Monitor partnership performance, produce impact assessments, and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of global citizenship within the university community.

Education

Minimum eight (8) years of experience in international partnership development, preferably within a university or research institution. Demonstrated success in managing multi‑million‑dollar collaborations and leading cross‑functional teams is essential.

Salary

The role offers a competitive salary range of SSP 600,000 to SSP 900,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
