We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Aquaculture Specialist to join our team in Karoi, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable aquaculture practices in collaboration with local communities, governments, and private sector companies.

Job Overview

The Sustainable Aquaculture Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable aquaculture practices in collaboration with local communities, governments, and private sector companies. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design and implement aquaculture projects that promote sustainable seafood production and improve the livelihoods of local communities.

The Sustainable Aquaculture Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sustainable aquaculture practices in collaboration with local communities, governments, and private sector companies.
  • Designing and implementing aquaculture projects that promote sustainable seafood production and improve the livelihoods of local communities.
  • Working closely with our team to develop and implement aquaculture research and development projects.
  • Providing technical assistance to local communities, governments, and private sector companies on sustainable aquaculture practices.
  • Collaborating with other organizations and stakeholders to promote sustainable aquaculture practices and improve the livelihoods of local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable aquaculture practices in collaboration with local communities, governments, and private sector companies.
  • Design and implement aquaculture projects that promote sustainable seafood production and improve the livelihoods of local communities.
  • Provide technical assistance to local communities, governments, and private sector companies on sustainable aquaculture practices.
  • Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to promote sustainable aquaculture practices and improve the livelihoods of local communities.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Aquaculture or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aquaculture research and development.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable aquaculture practices and their application in developing countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or related field.

Experience

5-7 years of experience in aquaculture research and development.

Salary

SSP 5,000 – 8,000 per month.
