Mpilo Central Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its clinical team in Bulawayo. The role focuses on providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians during medical procedures, and maintaining strict adherence to hospital healthcare protocols.
The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, pharmacists, and laboratory specialists. Candidates should possess strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations, and a commitment to maintaining patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor patient vital signs and health conditions.
Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies.
Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and nursing records.
Implement infection prevention and hospital safety protocols.
Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
Participate in emergency care and trauma response.
Coordinate with healthcare teams on treatment planning.
Supervise junior nurses and support clinical training programs.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and nursing ethics.
